We are currently read by +700 amazing people and I’d like it to be +1,000 before the summer is over.
This week’s articles & videos are all about The Big Ideas, both of the world around us and those inside us.
Wishing you a great week.
A. The Academy of Ideas
The thirst for knowledge has consumed humanity since the dawn of civilization.
However, until recently there have been numerous “gate-keepers” to the world of knowledge. The advent of the Internet has initiated a revolution like no other. The Internet is smashing all barriers to knowledge by granting individuals across the globe free and easy access to the vast library of ideas built up by humanity.
The truth is that ideas rule the world, they always have and always will. It is ideas that will, for better or worse, shape the destiny of mankind.
With that notion, The Academy Of Ideas seeks to curate and share the Big Ideas of humanity from Stoicism, Ovid, Arthur Schopenhauer, Don Quixote and Emerson.
These are some of my favourites.
B. First Family Health Office
My friend Feisal Alibhai, a third-generation family business member, is the founder and CEO of Qineticare, the world ’s first ‘family health office’, based in Hong Kong.
He epitomised society’s definition of success until a life-changing event at the age of 35 led him to change his focus.
He now seeks to make a difference by helping others transform their live.
Qineticare only caters to Ultra High-Net Worth families, but during the COVID-19 crisis Feisal has opened up some of their library of expert webinars.
I have tried to listen to all of them and have learnt a TON.
I try to use August as a time to re-charge, learn and grow as an individual.
If you intend to do the same, I have curated my favourite webinars below.
